Job offer: Finance Manager

Responsibilities

• Oversee the performance of finance and accounting team to ensure smooth and stable operations
• Ensure the tasks are carried out within operating standards, industry standard and regulations and statutory requirements (eg. reimbursement, payment transfer, etc.)
• Manage the overall accounting and financial reporting/invoices and its subsidiary to ensure compliance with requirements
• Liaise regularly with auditors, regulatory authorities, clients, brokers and partners for all finance related matters
• Facilitate internal audits and coordinate with respective stakeholders for the external audits
• Ensure that preparation of financial audit report is prepared and completed in timely manner
• Manage the administration expenses and budget for the whole financial year
• Keep proper maintenance of the accounting files and records
• Oversee the preparation of financial statements and monthly, quarterly, and annual reports
• Monitor cash flow, manage accounts payable and receivable, and optimize working capital
• Collaborate with senior management on strategic financial planning

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (CPA or CMA certification preferred)
• More than 5 years of experience in finance or accounting, preferably in insurance industry
• Strong knowledge of financial regulations, accounting standards, and tax laws
• Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skill
• Ability to read, write, comprehend through listening, and speak English
• Mature, well-organized and detail-oriented
