Responsibilities
- Collaborate with executive leadership to develop and implement business development strategies aligned with company goals and objectives
- Conduct thorough market research to identify new opportunities, trends, and potential areas for expansion
- Manage and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, inducing partners, clients, and government officials
- Lead negotiations for business deals, contracts, and agreements to ensure favorable terms for the company
- Manage and mentor a high-performing business development team, providing guidance and support to achieve targets and objectives
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and operations, to ensure alignment and seamless execution of business strategies
- Identify and evaluate new business opportunities to expand market presence
- Oversee project development and/or mergers and acquisitions to ensure alignment with company goals
- Analyze financial data to inform business decisions and support strategic planning
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and ensure project success
- Ensure compliance with government regulations and maintain positive government relations
- Provide regular reports on business development activities and progress to senior management
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Marketing, or a related field, MBA is a plus
- 7 years of proven experience in business development, with a successful track record of driving revenue growth
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to translate insights into actionable plans
- Basic financial skills, including the ability to analyze financial statements and data
- Strong stakeholder management skills with a proven track record of building and maintaining relationships
- Experience in project development or mergers and acquisitions
- Excellent commercial sense with the ability to identify and capitalize on business opportunities
- Strong understanding of government relations and regulatory environments
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated leadership abilities and a strategic mindset
